The Etica\nAzionario<\/strong> and Etica Bilanciato<\/strong>\nfunds were recipients of the \u201cGEA\nFinance Award<\/strong>\u201d, the first award in Italy dedicated to collective investment\nfunds classified pursuant to Art. 9 of Regulation EU 2019\/2088 or SFDR<\/a>.
\nThese funds were included among the most virtuous in terms of sustainability,\nand stood out for their risk\/return ratio efficiency in their reference\ncategories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A step closer to sustainability<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gea Finance Award is recognised by Withub<\/a>, the editor of the Green Economy Agency (GEA)\npress office, which focuses on the ecological transition and sustainability.
\nIn conjunction with Fida<\/a>, the leader in\nanalysing financial rating and ESG data, Withub drew up a ranking of the 10\nbest collective investment funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\ngoal? To encourage the world of asset\nmanagement to increase investments in the ecological transition.<\/strong>\nMore specifically, the award seeks to facilitate Italian and European companies\nand the production system in achieving the climate targets set in Fit for 55,\nto reach Net zero by 2050<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The role of finance in a sustainable economy<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Etica\nAzionario<\/strong><\/a>\nand <\/strong>Etica\nBilanciato<\/strong><\/a>\nwere the only Italian funds included in the ranking.<\/strong>
\nThis award, representing significant recognition for Etica Funds, once again\nhighlights the crucial role that finance can play in driving private savings\ntowards a more sustainable economy, which can generate value for the environment and companies over the longer term.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Award was presented during the “Green Economy Finance \u2013 The role of finance\nand savings in support of the ecological transition<\/em>” event that was\nheld in Rome on Thursday, 22 June, during the \u201cDavid Sassoli\u201d Europe\nExperience. The event also included various debates on the role of finance and\nsavings in promoting the investments needed for the ecological transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Method<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The method used to draw up the list of the 10\nbest collective investment funds was based on a joint analysis of the level of\nsustainability, assessed in relation to the SFDR regulation and a third system,\nthe FIDA ESG Rating<\/a>, as\nwell as the fund\u2019s ability to achieve significant results in terms of return\nand risk, based on the FIDA Rating system. In this regard, funds belonging to\nthe “reference universe<\/em>”\nthat met the “selection criteria<\/em>\u201d\nwere recognised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Italian and foreign collective investment funds\nsold in Italy, retail classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selection\ncriteria:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Funds complying with Art. 9 of SFDR.<\/li>
  2. Maximum\n sustainability level measured using the <\/strong>FIDA ESG Rating<\/strong><\/a>\n (5 wish trees)<\/li>
  3. Excellent performance in terms of risk and return measured\n using the FIDA Rating (4 and 5 crowns)<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
