Etica Sgr signed the Paris Pledge for Action<\/a>, an initiative promoted by the French Government and supported by various international networks, including the United Nation\u2019s PRI<\/a>. The Paris Pledge<\/strong> is a public memorandum of understanding<\/strong> created during COP21 in Paris aimed at pushing all investors, companies, organisations and NGOs to sign and confirm their strong commitment to a more stable and safer climate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The entire world: cities, regions, countries, investors, civil society, trade unions, and companies from all sectors all over the world, are finally realising the immenseness of the critical points caused by climate change<\/strong>, which are dangerous enough to threaten our ability and that of future generations to live in a world that can be peaceful and prosperous. It is more urgent than ever to make a real commitment to reducing emissions<\/strong>, in order to mitigate the risks connected with climate change, but also to offer better growth and a more sustainable development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The aim of this initiative is to make a concrete and collective commitment to a safer climate, by maintaining the temperature increase below 2\u00b0 Celsius, and immediately applying corrective and concrete measures.<\/p>\n

In light of the already supported Montreal Pledge<\/a>, Etica Sgr considers this initiative a fundamental step for the fight against climate change and for making a drastic change in the path towards a more sustainable and responsible future on a global level.<\/p>\n
