Instead, Etica abstained about the ratification of the <strong>appointment of the Independent Auditor<\/strong>, since Symantec has proposed to reconfirm KPMG for the 2013 financial year, former auditor of the Company for more than seven years. Finally, Etica voted in favor of the <strong>approval of the Compensation Plan<\/strong> of the management and in favor of a <strong>motion of a minority shareholder<\/strong> concerning the maintenance of assets by the directors until retirement.<br \/>\nEtica\u00a0Sgr\u00a0also underlined that\u00a0good\u00a0corporate governance practices\u00a0provide for\u00a0the separation\u00a0of the role\u00a0of Chairman\u00a0from that\u00a0of CEO and the importance relating to gender equality on the Board.
